Job Summary
Help develop 3D graphics software and web applications used to solve the world's water problems. At over 18 years on the market, this software is used around the world to model oceans, rivers, watersheds, and groundwater. Flexible hours - you can set your work hours around your class schedule.
Responsibilities
- Develop and refactor web applications for water engineering applications
- Write unit tests
- Work with others in an agile programming environment
- Help find and fix bugs
Qualifications
- Programming experience with Python and Javascript (required). C++ experience also helpful, but not required.
- Experience with web development technologies and patterns (HTML, CSS, MVC) is helpful (especially with Django or other Python web framework).
- Computer Science education (no degree required)
- A good GPA
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment and maintain good relationships
- Experience with Git versioning is helpful
Salary Range
- Starting at $14-$17/hr DOE
- Part time position
